Security Guards

Vanguard Security offers three levels of security officers:

Commissioned Protection Officers

A great cost-effective alternative to off-duty police officers, these professional are consider the elite of the elite. To obtain this status, an individual must have an impeccable security background as one of the following:

• Former Police Officers
• Military Police (MPs)
• Military Elite
• Corrections Officers Officers with a 4-year college degree

Upgraded Security Officers

For those clients needing more than the standard security program but not as extreme as the elite group, Vanguard Security can offer the Superior Security Officer. Each of these guards must have a background including:

• Former military personnel
• Officers with law enforcement experience
• Officers with two (2) years of college
• Officers with two (2) years of security experience

Professional Security Officers

We employ only the most qualified security professionals at Vanguard Security. Each candidate is thoroughly reviewed and must pass the following:

• Background screening
• Extensive Training
• Competent Writing and Verbal Communication Exams

Professional appearance and overall presentation is required in order to complement our clients' working and living environment.

Training

The most technologically advanced security skills and techniques are taught through intensive training to each Vanguard Security professional. Additionally, Vanguard's Commissioned Protection Officers (CPOs) training includes fire suppression, emergency medical response and CPR. Specialized knowledge and public relations skills are also taught, separating us from our competitors. If we are guarding your personnel and employees, it is crucial our security officers can communicate on a level compatible with your team.

Vanguard Security also has a 93-hour certified training program for Road Supervisors and CPOs. All of Vanguard's training instructors are certified to teach state mandated training for armed and unarmed licensing. Our program is so successful and thorough that we regularly receive request from other security companies to train their personnel in our academy.
