There's no hiding from Vanguard Security's NightSight Security System. With this state-of-the-art forward looking infrared system or FLIR, nothing and no one can go undetected even in the darkest areas of your location.

This heat-sensing security system works off the natural infrared heat objects exude. Humans give off a different infrared than animals, objects, plants, etc. NightSight interprets the varying degrees of heat to form an image of objects in its path.

Here's how it works: As Vanguard's security professionals patrol your property; they scan the area with the NightSight system. The system senses differing amounts of infrared coming from the areas of a scene and converts them into corresponding intensities of visible light on a display in the officer's vehicle. With this technology, our security officers can detect elements up to 2,400 feet away and almost instantly determine what they are.

Vanguard Security's officers can sweep 360 degrees of an area. In total darkness, images clearly outline people, animals, even recently driven cars. The technology will cut through darkness, dust, foliage and certain weather conditions. Images will not "wash out" from headlights, spotlights or glare.

When an intruder is spotted, Vanguard Security officers can immediately contact the police and assist in the apprehension of perpetrators.
